MEET THE ADVISOR

My name is Kayla Belt and I am the new College & Career Advisor at La Plata High School through a program called rootEd Alliance. I am excited to be in this new role with La Plata School District. I have been employed with the district for many years and served many different roles.

I will be helping students plan for life success after graduation, whether the student is attending college or trade school, going into the workforce, or enlisting in the military. This can be a stressful time and I am here to provide assistance and support.

I will be working closely with our School Counselor, Mrs. Lock, to help our students with their post-secondary plans. I am excited to be serving the students and families at La Plata High School.
