MEAL CHARGE PROCEDURE

Each student will be issued a bar-coded meal card. When the student deposits money into their meal account, he/she may then purchase breakfast or lunch. The student must have the card with them during breakfast or lunch. This card is coded to the individual student and may not be used by another student. If a student is caught in possession of another student’s meal card, he/she may be subject to disciplinary action. If a student loses their card, a new card will be issued after the student pays $2 for the new card.

Notices will be sent weekly to those with a negative balance on their meal account. Personal contacts will be made for students in danger of receiving an alternate meal. When an account reaches a balance of 10 negative meal charges, students will receive an alternate lunch.
