Description:

The La Plata R-II School District is searching for a part-time Paraprofessional to fill a position in the High School Building for the 2026-2027 school year. The Special Education Paraprofessional provides behavioral and emotional support to students as well as academic support within the general and special education classroom. The paraprofessional works under the supervision of certified staff to maintain a structured and supportive environment that promotes accountability and growth. When not working in the Special Education classroom, the paraprofessional will provide support to students in various general education classrooms.

Requirements: Paraprofessional certification, substitute certificate, or completed 60 college credit hours.

La Plata R-II operates on a 4-day school week.
