Lattes with Leadership:

Lattes with Leadership is tomorrow from 7am-8am at Green's Theater.  Come visit with Dr. Lucas McKinnis.  Coffee and Doughnuts will be provided.  This event is open to any resident of La Plata School District.

DENTAL MOBILE SERVICES

The Northeast Missouri Health Council Mobile Unit has offered to come to La Plata RII. They will check and do any dental work needed within their scope here at the school. I have permission slips that I can send home for you to fill out for your student to take

advantage of this service. Please call to request the needed documentation.

Veteran's Day Celebration and Wall of Honor:

Parents, students, and guests:
This year, we will have a ‘Wall of Honor’ during our annual Veteran’s Day Celebration.  We invite everyone to fill out a form (choose a template in the office) and attach a picture (or email (dsmoot@laplata.k12.mo.us) a picture that we can print to attach for you) to proudly display at our celebration!  Please submit by Friday, November 1st.  Pick one up in the office!
Contact your building principal if you have any questions!

Don’t forget to join us for a celebration to acknowledge our heroes!  Veterans are invited to join us for lunch at the HS Ag shop-11:00 am on November 8th, and the community is invited for our annual assembly at 1:30 in the HS Gym.

If you are interested in HS Boys Basketball, HS Girls Basketball, and HS Cheer-please see the coach.  Practices start soon and you don't want to miss out!

Red Ribbon Week:

October 21-November 1st is Red Ribbon Week.  Ms. Taylor has planned a week of events.  See flyer below.

Throughout this week, red ribbons will be hidden around the school. If you are able to find one and bring it to Ms. Taylor*, you will get a treat.  *CANNOT be during class time*
